Overview

The Guwahati Metropolitan Drinking Water & Sewerage Board (GMDWSB), Guwahati has announced a walk-in interview for the recruitment of 03 Developer positions on a temporary basis. The roles available include Senior Web Developer, Senior Mobile Developer, and Junior Web Developer. Eligible candidates possessing the required IT background and experience are invited to participate in the walk-in selection process scheduled for 15 October 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Senior Web Developer

• Educational Qualification: Graduate degree along with a 1-year Diploma in Computer Applications / IT.
• Work Experience: Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in PHP/Laravel, Node.js, React, MySQL/PostgreSQL, APIs, AWS/Linux, and development of e-Governance/utility applications.

2. Senior Mobile Developer

• Educational Qualification: B.Tech. in Computer Science.
• Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Android, Kotlin, Java, Flutter, APIs, GPS integration, Firebase, mobile application development, and e-Governance systems.

3. Junior Web Developer

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA).
• Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of practical experience in PHP, Laravel, CodeIgniter, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL/PostgreSQL, and web-based e-Governance or utility applications.

Interview Schedule & Reporting Details

Candidates must attend the walk-in interview on 15 October 2026 at the designated venue according to the following schedule:

• Senior Web Developer: Reporting Time between 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM
• Senior Mobile Developer: Reporting Time between 12:00 Noon and 12:30 PM
• Junior Web Developer: Reporting Time between 02:00 PM and 02:30 PM
• Interview Commencement: 11:30 AM onwards
