Overview

The Assam State Space Application Centre (ASSAC), situated at Bigyan Bhawan, Guwahati, has published a recruitment notification for the selection of 03 contractual vacancies. Qualified and interested persons can attend the walk-in interviews scheduled on 29th September 2026 and 6th October 2026.

Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

1. Accounts Assistant

• Vacancies: 01
• Remuneration: Rs. 25,000/- per month plus CPF as applicable.
• Educational Qualification: Graduate in Commerce with a Major in Accountancy from any UGC/AICTE-recognized university or institution (or equivalent).
• Desirable Qualification: PGDCA from an accredited institution. Practical working experience with Tally ERP, GST, TDS, TCS, IT return filing, EPF, CPF, etc.
• Experience: At least 1 year of hands-on experience handling accounts activities, preferably within a government department, autonomous body, PSU, or organization.
• Interview Date: 29th September 2026.

2. Junior Field Assistant (Surveyor)

• Vacancies: 01
• Remuneration: Rs. 18,000/- per month plus CPF as applicable.
• Educational Qualification: HSSLC (10+2) along with an ITI Certificate in Surveying (Surveyor Trade) or equivalent.
• Desirable Qualification: Practical skills in mapping, handling GPS/GNSS devices, taking field measurements, interpreting maps, navigating wetlands, and capturing geotagged data.
• Interview Date: 6th October 2026.

3. Junior Field Assistant (COPA)

• Vacancies: 01
• Remuneration: Rs. 18,000/- per month plus CPF as applicable.
• Educational Qualification: HSSLC (10+2) along with an ITI Certificate in Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) or equivalent.
• Desirable Qualification: Familiarity with data entry, online web portals, spreadsheet administration, and GIS application usage.
• Interview Date: 6th October 2026.

Walk-in Interview Schedule & Venue

• Registration Window: 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM sharp on the designated interview dates.
• Interview Timing: Commences from 11:00 AM onwards.
• Venue: Assam State Space Application Centre, Bigyan Bhawan (3rd Floor), G.S. Road, Guwahati – 781005.

How to Apply

1. Download and complete the standard application form.
2. Prepare self-attested photocopies of all relevant mark sheets, certificates, experience proofs, and testimonials.
3. Bring original documents for on-spot verification on the day of the interview.
4. Arrive at the venue before 10:00 AM for registration. Note that no candidates will be accepted for registration after 11:00 AM.
